Peggy Feig, RN, BA
Peggy Feig has over 35 years Nursing experience, with 20 years in Nursing education and holds a Bachelors degree in Career & Technical Education with a CA Teaching Credential in Health Science and Medical Technology. She has been an instructor and RN Director for both a CNA and LVN program. Her passion lies in educating the future of nursing, and to have a positive impact on patients resulting from competent and compassionate care.
Gail Vaccaro, RN
HHA/CNA Instructor, CPR Instructor
Gail came to DVNI with a wealth of knowledge and experience. She has spent most of her nursing career in the OR and Home Health. Her favorite part of teaching is lighting the fire under students to thirst for more knowledge and continue their nursing journey after graduation.
Cassandra Wynne, LVN
Cassandra has been a Licensed Vocational Nurse for over 25 years. She comes with a varied background which includes working with the elderly in Assisted Living/Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, Rehabilitation, and Home care. She loves teaching and it shows in her dedication to our student success. Her professionalism shines through as a great example for entry level nursing students.
Elva Aceves, RN
Elva received her ADN from our local College of the Desert in 2009. She then went on to obtain her BSN. Her career highlights include extensive nursing at JFK as a Med-Surg nurse, Quality compliance, and Clinical informatics. She also comes with a background in home health care.
Bridget Wulff, LVN
Bridget joins DVNI team with vast experience in teaching and nursing. Her nursing career includes patient care in the acute care hospital in a rehabilitation unit, working in a surgery clinic, and serving the elderly population as a Health & Wellness facility director. Bridget has been teaching CNA Programs for 25 years. Her favorite part of teaching is helping students build a solid foundation in nursing care to provide quality care.
Jeff Feig, EMT
Jeff is our lead CPR Instructor. His professional career includes being a firefighter in Michigan. He currently works in the field as an EMT. His dedication to helping students learn the importance of quick and competent care during a cardiac emergency is evident in the quality instruction he provides to our students and community.
